Our customers’ favorite paddle spots

Your search for epic and unique paddle spots ends here. We asked our customers what their all-time favorite paddle boarding spots were, and they answered with some rad photos and stories to back it up. Take a seat or lounge in a hammock and indulge in some new locations to add to your paddle board bucket list.

1. COLORADO RIVER, ARIZONA

“This photo was taken on the Black Canyon portion of the Colorado River. We started at the base of the Hoover Damn (epic view!) and ended our paddle at Willow Beach. I think the total distance was around 12 miles. We were there for my friend’s bachelorette party (best idea ever!). We took 3 days and 2 nights to explore the area. There are a ton of side canyons with hot springs. I suggest taking your time to explore instead of doing the whole 12 miles in a one day, even though it’s doable.” – @letusrunwild

2. MOOSE POND – BRIDGTON, MAINE

“My friend and I made the most of the last day of the season on Moose Pond, Bridgton, ME. The lake sits right below Shawnee Peak Ski Area. It was October 23 and the fall colors were in full swing, but it was warm enough to wear a tank top. The water was crispy and refreshing but neither of us were crazy enough to go for a swim. It was one of those wacky days that comes together at the last minute with no planning. It was a perfect way to wrap up my first season with my board.” – @the_vagabond_diaries

3. PROVO RIVER – WASTACH COUNTY, UTAH

“I took my son out to one of my favorite fishing spots, but always failed to reach a little pocket on the river where it was calm. So, we packed the sportsman and fly rod down a nearby trail and inflated my board right there. Out on the river, we were able to get out to enjoy the fall foliage before the sunset.” – @svenddiesel

4. LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA

“My best paddle pal and I love hitting the local lakes and reservoirs in our home state of Colorado. One day, we decided to check a much-desired spot off our SUP bucket list, Lake Tahoe!! As advised, we visited in the off season (early October) where we pretty much had the lake to ourselves! I can only compare the beautiful, clear blue water in Tahoe to Hawaii or the Caribbean! Unbelievable! These photos were taken at Sand Harbor and Zephyr Cove. My advice is to go in the off season and wear layers!” – @areickssturgill

5. YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CALIFORNIA

“We flew from Buffalo to San Francisco for a surprise long weekend for my girlfriend’s birthday. The plan was to spend two days in San Fran before camping in Yosemite for two nights. After a few long days hiking, we were ready to head back to SF. On the road out, we found a pullout, and did a quick cruise along the Merced River as a final farewell.” -@brendonlutnick & @nathalie_winder

6. SAN BLAS ISLANDS, PANAMA

“We are a couple and a clumsy dog sailing around the world aboard our catamaran Ipanema! We started in early 2015 in Croatia and since than we have sailed the Mediterranean and most of the Caribbean. We are currently in a paradise called San Blas Islands in Panama! This is one of the best places we have been to paddle because of its crystal-clear waters. You can paddle just over the most stunning and colorful shallow reefs, and spot from your board an incredible array of marine life such as grey and eagle rays, nurse sharks, sea turtles and if you are lucky even a gracious dolphin will swim by!” – @sailipanema

7. LITTLE MOLAS LAKE – SILVERTON, COLORADO

“We live in Durango, Colorado which is stand up paddle board paradise. In this photo we are at Little Molas lake. Durango is a high desert area with mountains rivers and lakes. We take advantage whenever we can get away. My wife and daughters love to explore inlets and Eddie’s on their paddle boards. We basically live in paradise.” – Chowen Photography

8. PROMONTORY PARK – ESTACADA, OREGON

“This is a picture of my friend. We went paddling in Estacada, OR in a park called Promontory Park. It was beautiful with all the autumn color changes! The water was also very calm. However, the further up on the Clackamas River you go, you may run into some rapids! – @kgilz

9. EASTERN SIERRA, CALIFORNIA – INYO/MONO COUNTIES

“There is no shortage of alpine lakes in the Eastern Sierras. The hardest thing to do is choosing which one to paddle! If it’s abundant sunshine, aspens aglow, or snow-capped mountains you seek, then a paddle on Lake Lundy in October is all you need. We even brought our rods and fished from our boards. Plenty of trout!” – @tiffanyjuniper

10. BARBER POND – SOUTH KINGSTON, RHODE ISLAND

“Living in the smallest state has its perks, including over 400 miles of coastline to explore. My boyfriend and I frequently paddle in the coastal salt ponds of Rhode Island but recently we have been exploring some of the state’s fresh water ponds. On this particular night, we were running against the clock with the shortening autumn days, and trying to get a quick paddle in before sunset. We ended up at Barber Pond in South Kingston, RI and were greeted by a glassy mirror and golden foliage from the surrounding trees! Summer is a wonderful time to paddle, but the fall days are becoming our favorites.” – @j.ban
